[DE] "Das Rathaus wurde 1561–1574 errichtet. Unter dem heutigen Sitzungssaal befindet sich eine mittelalterliche Mikwe, ein jüdisches Kultbad. Der Wasserspiegel des Bades steigt und fällt auch heute noch mit dem Rheinpegel. Weiterhin ist in dem Gebäude die Stadtbücherei beherbergt."

[EN] "The old townhall was built between 1561 and 1574. Today, it is the seat of the political factions of Andernach and it has a large conference hall. Under the conference hall, there is a medieval Mikveh, a traditional Jewsih ritual bath. The water level of the bath rises and falls with the level of the Rhine River. Moreover, the old townhall is home to the public library."
