[DE] "Das Gebäude wurde zwischen 1594 und 1600 als Stadtpalais des kurkölnischen Oberamtmannes Georg von der Leyen errichtet. Von außen reizt besonders die künstlerische Gestaltung des Portalvorbaus. Die aufwendige und detailgetreue Architektur stammt aus der Spätrenaissance. Seit 1936 ist das Stadtmuseum dort beherbergt."
