Village pump of c1850. Moulded cast iron with spout, about 2m high. Stands with curved buff brick wall behind.

"A distinctive pump at Woodhouse Eaves, Leics. Nearby is a small plaque which reads:

WOODHOUSE EAVES
VILLAGE PUMP
IN USE UNTIL
THE 1920s


It's almost certainly a Hayward Tyler Model 442a, advertised for sale in the late 1800s at £8 7s 6d, complete."
