The Chisholm Trail Heritage Center is a museum dedicated to the memory and achievements of the early settlers of this area, and a men who drove millions of head of cattle to market along the Chisholm Trail.

On the north side of the property is an area marked "Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum Nature Trail." The trail is rather overgrown, and wanders north and east through treed and grassed land, and along the banks of a creek. A granite marker at the entrance to the trail indicates that the benches are an Eagle Scout Project by Alex Pack from Troop #4434.
