EN If Barjols has developed its reputation around its old tanneries, it is none the less its multiple fountains and laundries that can be discovered at the discretion of a circuit of a duration of one hour called "fountains" .

The particularity of this eighth fountain is to be the monument to the dead of Barjols. This carved ensemble was made by Jules Récubert in 1922 on an already existing fountain. The sculptor represented the smiling soldiers going to war on one side of the fountain, and on the other, the men returning, marked by the fighting. Most of the characters are real portraits of barjolais dead for the homeland.
