In the Boston neighborhood of Dorchester is Cedar Grove Cemetery, which has this statue entitle "A Mother's Love: Memories Shared by All of Us."

Cedar Grove Cemetery is located along the southern edge of the city, right and next to an estuary of the Neponest River. The cemetery is bounded by Granite Avenue, Milton Street, Adams Street, and Butler Street, and by the pedestrial walkway the Neponset Walkway.

The statue is located about 100 ft south of the main entrance, where the main entrance road meets other cemetery roads. The statue is in a triangular feature where flowers are planted.

The statue with pedestal is about five feet tall, and made of grey granite. The forms are of a mother with a child clinging to her. On the front of the pedestal is the following text:

"A Mother's Love
Memories are Shared
by All of Us

Donated in Memory
Of Our Loved Ones
by the Friends of
Cedar Grove Cemetery
