At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street. In about 0.4 miles, Elm Street becomes FR16, Three Creek Lake Road. Travel S from the intersection for about 1.3 miles. Turn left onto FR4606, the Brooks-Scanlon Logging Road, and continue 3.2 miles to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe; rising 10" in a mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The sixteenth corner is W, about 2095' from the centerline of FR4606. There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on a U-post which bears N, 37" from the corner. Found three ponderosa pines and a western juniper with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.
