FR Initiative Pays d'Aix est une association loi 1901, créée en 1997 à l'initiative de la Ville d'Aix et de la Communauté d'Agglomération du Pays d'Aix (CAPA), afin de soutenir la création, la reprise-transmission et le développement d'activités à caractère économique sur le territoire communautaire (36 communes, hors Pertuis).
Le secteur est vaste et il faut s'y retrouver :

* 1 420 entreprises
* 27 106 emplois
