While the Flag Pole only had the Australian flag flying when I was there, There is the ability to fly another FOUR flags on the cross arm. The pole is centred on the pedestrian mall, that has Macquarie Street continuing on either end of it.
There is a "Lest We Forget" inscription on the base of the stand of a propeller.
