And then again, maybe not. In one way he brings Peter Fonda to mind, sitting astride his Harley and waving at passers by. But, in many ways de doesn't. The bike is a classic Harley, not a chopper and the biker is quite a bit chunkier than Fonda.

On the west side of Highway 212 at Hauser Avenue, opposite Liver-Eating Johnston Park, the biker appears as though he is waiting for a break in the traffic so he can get on the highway and head to his favorite ski hill.

Made of formed sheet metal and a few pieces of steel pipe, both bike and biker are quite good renditions of the intended subject. Having achieved a nice red patina from a few years in the weather, this is a worthy Roadside Attraction. We wish we knew the identity of the sculptor, as this is a pretty nice piece of work and he/she deserves a mention.
