Werner is a German comics character, appearing in a number of German comic books and animated films. He was created in 1978 by Brösel (Rötger Feldmann).

In 1985, Rötger Feldmann made a bet between him and his friend Holger Henze in his comic book Werner - Eiskalt !, the fourth volume of the Werner series. It was about a race in which Werner competed against Holger's red Porsche 911 with the Red Porsche Killer, a self-built motorcycle powered by four Horex engines.
The Werner race took place on September 4, 1988 on the airfield Hartenholm in the Schleswig-Holstein community Hasenmoor.
