The Veterans Memorial Park is in honor of our nation's veterans who served the United States of America. This is a small park with grassy areas and with beautiful views of Lake Coeur d'Alene.
The memorial is a three section marble stele, mounted on a three tier plinth. There are flags of all branches of the military. The center section is inscribed as follows;

SERVED AND DEDICATED
TO THE EVERLASTING
MEMORY OF THOSE WHO
SACRIFICED THEIR LIVES
ON THE ALTAR OF FREEDOM
