Grote Markt nr. 19. Z.g. "Patria", voorheen "Roeland" genaamd. Herbergt thans de Christelijke Mutualiteiten. Beschermd als monument bij B.V.E. van 09.03.1983. De oudste vermeldingen gaan terug tot 1370 als "Groothuis". In 1406 reeds gekend als "den Roeland". Achtereenvolgens deed het gebouw dienst als lakenhalle, weeshuis en school, hoofdwacht en hospitaal. Vanaf 1780 opnieuw in privé
Roeland is beschermd als monument. De bescherming omvat het 18de-eeuwse stadspaleis met 13de-eeuwse kelder.
De Koninklijke Commissie voor Monumenten en Landschappen (KCML) bracht een advies uit waarbij de historische en artistieke waarde van het huis als volgt werd gemotiveerd: “als indrukwekkend hoekgebouw in Lodewijk XVI-stijl uit circa 1790 - 1800.”

The earliest reference to this building was in 1370 when the building was then known as the Groothuis. By 1406 the building was known as the Roeland. The building variously served as a cloth hall, orphanage, school and a hospital. By 1780 it was a private home. Today the building is home to the social insurance organization, Christelijke Mutualiteiten.
