Max Webber Library has exceptional provision in children's services. They run highly attended storytimes including a multicultural storytime and baby rhyme times with large numbers of children, parents, grandparents and sometimes child care centres attending. The area is very multicultural and the groups reflect this.

"The library has become an iconic hub for the Bankstown community, uniting people in a contemporary, fresh and intimate civic space. The prominent metallic louvres are a key feature of the building, which help to feed natural light through the reading spaces and give respect to the books and their readers.

"The new features of the building include a central atrium and stairs." (visit link)
