The Coach House Inn formerly The Coach and Horses is a Grade II listed 19th-century coaching inn, located on Northgate Street, opposite the historic Cathedral in Chester city centre.
British Listed Buildings describe the property as;
"Public house. c1872. By Kelly and Edwards of No.7 St Werburgh
Street (not included). The lower 2 storeys are of
sandstone-dressed English bond brown brickwork, the third
storey and gables timber-framed with plaster panels; clay tile

The Coach House Inn is a pub/hotel. The main bar area has stripped floorboards, tables & chairs plus comfy sofas, with a wood burning stove in a feature fire place. There is a separate dining area adjacent to the open plan kitchen and the hotel has 8 luxurious rooms to let upstairs.
As official sponsors of the local Storyhouse theatre, they offer a special menu to theatre goers. They are also Cask Marque Accredited.
It was voted Cheshire's Best Pub in 2016 and Best Accommodation in 2017.
