Osprey was commissioned in 2012 by the Coeur d'Alene Arts Commission as one of the Utility Box Beautification Project. The artist was Morgan Breish.

Artists, graphic designers, photographers, illustrators, and other creative individuals residing within a 100 mile radius of Coeur d'Alene were eligible for the project. There are currently 54 decorated utility boxes throughout the city. Some are in pairs and both utility boxes have the same theme. We enjoy finding these and in our travels they are becoming more popular. Even in our tiny town, decorated utility boxes are appearing.
