Near where you stand you will see a columnar sign, which has a photo of the Bandstand taken in 1930. Not too much has changed, tho it is now surrounded by period glass windows. This park is directly opposite the historic St Vincent's Hospital, where the late Dr Victor Chang set up the Heart and Lung Transplant Unit.
Yes, the coordinates are for where you can take a photo of the Octagonal Building, to the southwest, with similar perspective, to the original one.
