This memorial is a stone in the VFW 5327's Walk of Fame, which leads up to the Alter in the Memorial scetion of the VFW's grounds.


"Hal E. Watson Hal Edward Watson, 79, of Wentzville, died Friday (Sept. 24, 1993) at the Harry S Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Watson was a retired real-estate agent.

"The funeral service was scheduled for Monday, Sept. 27, at J.E. Pitman Funeral Home, 909 Pitman Avenue, Wentzville, with burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in south St. Louis County.

Among survivors are his wife, Nedra Watson of Wentzville; two sons, Bruce E. Watson of Wentzville and David Wade E. Watson of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Barbara L. Davis of Warrenton; a sister, Margarite Kasten of Florissant; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
