This memorial is a stone in the VFW 5327's Walk of Fame, which leads up to the Alter in the Memorial scetion of the VFW's grounds.
I am not sure what the "Fl" and "HO" on the stone means, but Howard was born November 30, 1928 and passed October 1, 1993.
"***** Howard Binsbachar Howard Binsbachar, 64, of Wentzville, died Friday (Oct. 1, 1993) at his home.
"He was retired after being employed for 25 years as an insurance agent for the Prudential Insurance Co. in St. Charles. He was a member of VFW Post 5327 in Wentzville, where he had served as a past quartermaster. He was also involved in the Sunshine Memorial project through the VFW Post. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in World War II and the Korean War.
"The funeral was Monday at the Wentzville VFW Post. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5200 Lucas and Hunt Road, north St. Louis County.
"Among survivors are one son, Paul H. Binsbachar of Wentzville; three daughters, Sandy L. Koenig of Charlotte, N.C., Susan J. Beckham of Barnhart and Dianne E. Wren of St. Peters; his mother, Agnes Ruth Binsbachar of St. Charles; and 10 grandchildren.
"Memorial contributions to VFW Post 5327 or to the Salvation Army can be made in care of the Baue Funeral Home, 1575 West Pearce Boulevard, Wentzville, Mo. 63385." ~ St. Louis Post Dispatch
