This windmill provides water for a small ranching operation at the foot of the Silver Bell mine waste dump near the ghost town of Silver Bell Arizona. The windmill was made by the American West Windmill Company of Amarillo, Texas. It fills a couple of stock tanks at the foot of the mine waste dump, hopefully, with potable water. The area is in the lower sonoran desert zone and there is no other water supply in the area.
