In West Boylston, along Prospect Street, is the Wachusett Country Club.
The golf course straddles Prospect Street. The club house is by Prospect, on the southeast side. It is about a mile west of the center of town.
The course has eighteen holes. There are great views of Wachusett Reservoir and the hilly terrain in all directions. It is a private course and there are membership fees, but there is also a page for daytime rates, which vary on the day, time of day, walking or riding, and age. The clubhouse is a white rambling building, with a good-sized parking lot to the south. Inside is a pub - currently the Ross Tavern. There are also rooms for holding functions like weddings.
