There are quite a few cemeteries throughout Hunt County which have had similar treatment, suggesting an organized project back in the late 1950s to place these dated posts. Both are made of gray granite, each standing about five feet tall, with benches attached. On the northern post is:

Concord Cemetery

Established 1885
Memorial Entrance
Erected 1958

A woman, kneeling in prayer, is on the southern post, and spanning the benches is "What we keep in memory is ours unchanged forever."
Year built or dedicated as indicated on the structure or plaque: 1958

Full Inscription (unless noted above):
Concord Cemetery Established 1885 Memorial Entrance Erected 1958 What we keep in memory is ours unchanged forever.
