The copper sculpture is on a sawn sandstone wall facing west, at the top of the stairs and Ground Floor entry to the Physics Building. It stretches high above you - possibly 7 metres high, and elements of the sculpture are about 2.5 from side to side. There is a man with his right arm held aloft with a falcon on it; on a horse. With a tree in the background. Above him are various shapes, connected by rods.
There is a nearby brushed stainless steel plaque, which reads:
