This is an etched/printed, brushed stainless steel plaque attached to the top wooden slat with a couple of stainless steel screws.
It reads:
"Dedicated To
Dane Wassell & Dominic Fitzgerald
For Their Outstanding Contribution To Student Life."
The seat of the bench has six wooden slats, with a slight curve for behind the knees, and basically a straight but angled back, with five slats. Behind the bench is some of the student accommodation, while in front is the 'parkland' of the University, with magnificent trees providing lovely shade; in the direction of the Sciences Faculty, and over the 'Physics lawn'.
