On the left-hand side of the Memorial K13 pond is a tall sandstone stela, that has multiple bronze plaques on it. The topmost (square) one explains the background of the Memorial Park, while the next two (tall, parallel), list the submarines lost in WW1. The next plaque gives a 'nautical' Biblical Verse and details where the WW1 plaques came from. The bottom two parallel tall tablets list the British submarine losses from the end of World War One, through World War Two, through to 1955. The plaques read:
