Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present sixteenth corner bears N0.9°W from T15S R10E S26 25 36 35 COR, 1322' distant.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe; rising 3" in a mound of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The sixteenth corner is near two posts for fences running S-E and N-W. There are two proximate U-posts. One, with a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign, bears S, 33" distant. The other, with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs, bears W, 32" from the corner. In addition there is a wood lath witness stake. Found a western juniper and a ponderosa pine with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.
What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest SW from the corner, else private property; in addition, see survey CS11695 filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office
