This memorial is in the form of a boxed cross with figures on a long octagonal tapering shaft and standing on an octagonal plinth with a four stepped base. The inscriptions are on the risers of the top two steps and the cross base.

The names and dedication round the cross base are from WWI, starting from the dedication panel,IN / MEMORIAM / 1914-1918, there are seven other panels carrying 22 names. Beneath this, on the topmost riser are the words "THINK / AND / THANK / AND / THINK / AND / THANK / AND", then below this on the second down step riser are 14 more names of the fallen from WWII together with the dates 1939 - 1945, and one name from the conflict in Northern Ireland, 1972. Some of the inscriptions are quite worn and the transcription may not be accurate.
