The Royal Plaza Fountain is a complex structure in the downtown shopping district of Oranjestad. The octagonal basin is decorated with a intricate mosaic tile pattern. Rising from the center of the basin an octagonal column with the same mosaic tile pattern has on each side a golden lion head from which water flows from th mouths of the lions into the basin below.
Above is a circular teal colored columns from which four lantern lights are hung. Then there are four small circular clocks, a platform with small figurines and there is a carillon at the top.
