Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present quarter corner bears S0.8°E from [T15S R10E S35] T16S R10E S2 CC 1/4 COR, 2907' distant.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 11" in a mound of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on a U-post which bears N, 60" distant and a LAND SURVEY MARKER decal on an orange Carsonite post which bears N, 30" from the corner. In addition, there is a bare T-post which bears ENE, 53" distant. Found two western junipers with scribed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.
What property is this mark defining?: private property NE from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest;
