This bench can be found against a south-facing wall in the Patio Garden of the Ramsey Cottage Hospital.
The wooden bench has a slatted seat and backrest and an arm rest.
The plastic plaque on the back of the bench is inscribed as follows:
'IN HAPPY MEMORY OF DOUGIE CORLETT
23.10.1914 - 20.9.2000
WHO SPENT MANY YEARS AS THE DEVOTED AND AND TIRELESS GARDENER
AT THE RAMSEY AND DISTRICT COTTAGE HOSPITAL.'
The bench enjoy the afternoon sunshine and affords views of the Hospital's gardens in including the Patio Garden.
