"Hall composed of three naves on eleven bays, consisting of a curved tile roof on wooden frames supported by wooden posts also posed on stone posts.

These halls date from the fifteenth century, and seem to have been frozen since that time. There are still markets today, and these halls are yet in a beautiful state of preservation.

Note the tiling and the detail of the frame. Everything sounds authentic. It's like being back in medieval times! The halls are dominated by the remains of one of the largest Carolingian abbeys of the West: the octagonal tower, called "Charlemagne" (which according to legend founded this abbey in the eighth century) and part of the cloister. These remains are classified Historical Monuments. "
