This Memorial Plaque can be found in the Patio Garden at the Ramsey Cottage Hospital.
The Plaque was unvieled on 14 November 2017 by Leonard Singer the Chairman of Ramsey Cottage Hospital League of Friends in the presence of John's widow Carol.
The text on the plaque is as follows:
'In memory of
John P.R. Gaggs
in recognition of his
valued service to
Ramsey Cottage Hospital
League of Friends.'
John Gaggs was a former press photographer and also a Ramsey Town Commissioner for 12 years being Chairman in 2002-2003. John's father was also a newspaperman and held to the post as editor of the Mona's Herald. John also served on a number of committees inlcuding the Northern Swimming Pool Board and the League of Friends of Ramsey Cottage Hospital.
John was a trustee and committee member of the League for many yaears.
John died in February 2017.
