In the early 1800 the Transcontinental Pacific Railroad reached Medicine Hat, opening up the Alberta Territory which included Stirling. Some of the first settlers were members of the Church of Latter-Day Saints from Utah.

This mural shows the arrival of the train and a homesteader tilling the land. This mural is primary blue hues.
