The southern face is mostly obscure by a large tree, that is overgrowing the Post Office. The clock was running right on time, as I was photographing it (okay, it was about a year ago.) The four faces are flush with the rendered surface of the Clock Tower, with white Roman numerals for the hours, and white triangles beside number, with rectangular 'ticks' to designate the minutes. The minute hands are nicely tapered, with a minor waist, while the hour hand has a 'feminine waist/derriere' aspect to the shape.
Above each clock face are three arched openings, that may have been for a bell tower - uncertain on that. With a 'hipped' corrugated iron roof on the top. Impressive.
From a leaflet, called, "Walks in History - Kempsey": (

"The Post Office is listed on the State
Heritage, National Trust and National Estate
Registers. It is described as “a high Victorian
Classical Post Office with strongly rusticated
rendered brick on the ground floor and corner
clock tower. A well proportioned public building
which is an important element in the townscape”.
It was opened on March 23rd 1886."
