Park constructed by the WPA/CCC in 1936. There are steps, benches and picnic tables built by them still in evidence. New playground equipment has been installed.

City park is located on the scenic banks of Hord's Creek. The park offers picnic facilities under majestic shade trees, a western museum, tennis courts, a disc golf course, a recreation center with Olympic-sized swimming pool and colorful playground equipment.
