At the South West Rocks cenotaph is a plaque specifically for commemorating World War 2 (along with a large plaque, with individual notations of those who have died since WW2).

While the South West Rocks Cenotaph is based around the obelisk erected for commemorating the locals who died in World War One, there are also commemorative plaques for World War Two, and those that contributed to that war effort.

To the north of the obelisk, in front of a flag pole, is a low-angled concrete plinth with a bronze plaque, which commemorates the 50th Anniversary of WW2. It reads:

AUSTRALIA REMEMBERS	1945-1995

 These trees were planted to commemorate
      The 50th Anniversary
       of the end of World War II

We pay tribute to all members of the Armed Forces,
  Merchant Mariners, and All who contributed to
 the War Effort at home during the great Struggle
	   LEST WE FORGET
	     15th August, 1995

Then, on a steeply-angled, sawn and polished granite stela (in the photo above, to the right of the commemorative plaque - top left plaque), is a broad bronze plaque, with individual notations for the locals who went to World War Two, and have died since. They are in 4 columns of three each (instead of what is below, two columns of six.) The inscriptions read:

The right-hand plaque of the left 'conjoined' stela has a plaque for those who went to Vietnam, while the plaque below the one itemised above, is for those who went to Malaya.
