This is a single, separate / external Bell Tower, for the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in South West Rocks, on the north coast of NSW. It would be 6 metres tall, with four square-sectioned, steel tubular legs that that are almost parallel as they soar up in front of the sand-coloured brick church. There is a ~40 cm bronze bell in a roofed housing at the very top, with a chain to pull the bell that ends about 4 metres off the ground. There is a round tubular pipe 1.5 metres off the ground, that could allow someone to stand on, and with a hooked stick, be able to reach and ring the bell.
The vertical stand, and the 'X' bracing are painted grey, with the horizontal bracing being painted white.
The top has a pyramidal metal roof immediately above the bell.
From talking with one of the parishioners, a bit more information has come to light about the bell. Initially it is thought to have been a ship's bell, before being used at the South West Rocks Gaol.
It was then used at St Andrews Anglican Church at Kinchella, until that Church closed. It was then put into storage, until being installed here.
