At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street. In about 0.4 miles, Elm Street becomes FR16, Three Creek Lake Road. Travel S from the intersection for about 1.3 miles. Turn left onto FR4606, the Brooks-Scanlon Logging Road, and continue 4.9 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" aluminum cap on 5/8" rebar post; about 1" below grade

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The standard quarter corner bears S, 310' from the centerline of FR4606. An old barbed wire fence runs E-W and is about 18' N from the corner. In addition, there are two LOCATION POSTER signs on a ponderosa pine which bears NE, 20' distant. Found a ponderosa pine and a western juniper with partly healed blazes and yellow BEARING TREE tags.
