The Magrath Cenotaph honors World War I (The Great War) and WWII veterans from Magrath and District. It stands about 12 feet in height and rests on a two tiered plinth with a slightly tapering monument inscribed with the names of the Veterans. Backing the monument is a trio of flagpoles flying the flags of Alberta, Canada and the town of Magrath.
