The Magrath Cenotaph honors World War I (The Great War) veterans from Magrath and District. It stand about 12 feet in height and stands on a two tier plinth with a slightly tapering monument inscribed with the names of the Veterans. Backing the monument is a trio of flagpoles flying the flags of Alberta, Canada and the town of Magrath.
