Erected 50 yards west of the Llano River bridge crossing; concrete structure 10 feet high, 20 feet wide at foundation and 4 feet wide at top. Replaced Llano's first dam of log construction built in 1892. Both the 1892 and 1908 dams created the Llano Reservoir which became the source of the town's water supply.
