[GER] Diese Kirche gehört zu den alten kirchlichen Zentren im Umkreis Hamburgs. Ihr Kern ist ein Feldsteinbau aus der Zeit nach 1200. DIe Außenmauern sind vielfach ausgebessert, die Fenster um 1870 verändert worden. Der Chor, um 1250 neu errichtet, zeigt sorgfältig verarbeitetes Feldsteinmauerwerk. Der Turm - erbaut vor 1700 - wurde 1780 erneuert. Von der Ausstattung ist eine Glocke von 1494 sowie der Altaraufsatz von 1695 zu erwähnen. Die Kanzel von 1634 übernahm man 1801 aus der Wandsbeker Kirche; Kruzifix und Apostelfiguren sind mittelalterlich.

[ENG] This church belongs to the old ecclesiastical centres in the vicinity of Hamburg. Its core is a field stone building dating back to the 1200's. The outer walls have been repaired many times and the windows were changed around 1870. The choir, newly built around 1250, shows meticulously crafted field stone masonry. The tower - built before 1700 - was renewed in 1780. A bell from 1494 and the altarpiece from 1695 should be mentioned. The pulpit of 1634 was taken over from the Wandsbeker Church in 1801; crucifixes and apostles are medieval.
