Gregory Hall has a wonderful website devoted to Mulberry, which today is a nice, quiet rural community not far from the Red River, and he has a page that tells the full story, with a photo of the family there.

The headstone provides no hint as to their fate, although multiple deaths on the same day tends to be ominous. It reads:

Newton L. Price
1879  Apr. 9, 1919
Ida Price
1883  Apr. 9, 1919
Bertine Price
1913  Apr. 9, 1919
Edgar Lee Price
1915  Apr. 9, 1919
Delton Price
1917  Apr. 9, 1919

Was the inscription legible?: Yes
