The central part, a sort of yellow and mauve viewfinder, of the sculpture of 10 meters high indicates very precisely the north.
The artist has conceived sculpture as a magnetic north-oriented signal to show people that they are in a cosmic universe and live on an axis around which the earth rotates.
He had recourse to army engineers who determined as precisely as possible the magnetic north axis.
