Long Description:
This sundial is very large, about 8 feet across I'd guess, and it sits in a prominent position atop a hill in a small Tacoma pocket park. The shadow is cast by the vertical rod across the horizontal, circular band of metal which is inscribed with numbers for the hours of the day.

This park is at the South end of the pedestrian section of Ruston Way near 30th. Be sure to take the stroll along the waterfront for beautiful views, publicm piers, a historic fireboat, and sculpture.

Sundial Type: Equatorial - plate in plane of equator
