At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street. In about 0.4 miles, Elm Street becomes FR16, Three Creek Lake Road. Travel S from the intersection for about 1.3 miles. Turn left onto FR4606, the Brooks-Scanlon Logging Road, and continue 5.3 miles past a locked, metal gate to the intersection with FR1612. Turn right on FR1612 and travel 0.8 miles to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 3" in a collar of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The standard quarter corner bears NW about 0.1 mile from the centerline of FR1612. There are two U-posts with SURVEYED LAND LINE decals. One bears E, 42" distant, and the other W, 75" from the corner. In addition there is a wood lath witness stake. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides. Two bearing objects, 1-1/2" aluminum caps on 5/8" rebar posts, found about 3" below grade are documented the WAYMARK GALLERY photographs.
