EN: The neo-Gothic villa on the Peter Merian-Strasse 19/21 was built in 1903/04 by Wilhelm Bernoulli (1869-1909). The irregularly shaped three-storey building gives the impression of a medieval fortress, especially the entrance area and the turret on the southwest corner.
On the balcony above the entrance there are two side-facing gargoyles in the shape of dogs.
DE: Die neugotische Villa an der Peter Merian-Strasse 19/21 wurde 1903/04 von Wilhelm Bernoulli (1869-1909) erbaut. Das unregelmässig geformte dreistöckige Gebäude macht den Eindruck einer mittelalterlichen Festung, insbesondere der Eingangsbereich und das Erkertürmchen an der südwestlichen Ecke.
Am Balkon über dem Eingangsberich befinden sich zwei seitlich ausgerichtete Wasserspeier in der Form von Hunden.
