This Cross is incorporated into the War Memorial which can be found in the Old Laxey Mine Washing Floors, Captain's Hill, Laxey. It has been fashioned in stone to resemble a sword.

About the memorial:'To the sacred / memory of the fallen / of Lonan and Laxey / who made the supreme / sacrifice. / 1914-1918 1939-1945 / We will remember them.' 60 names listed; First World War and Second World War. A plaque at the entrance to the memorial area reads as follows: 'This memorial was refurbished by / the Royal British Legion / (Lonan and Laxey Branch) / to commemorate the 50th anniversary / of the ending of World War II / dedicated on Sunday 27th August 1995 / by Reverend C. Upton / in the centenary year of Laxey / Village Commissioners.' Information provided by the Isle of Man Government Preservation of War Memorials Committee.
