The massive Googie Neon sign that once glowed brightly alas now has holes where the Neon tubes were mounted. The Neon portion of the sign was the text Motor Hotel, & the giant Googie arrow.
The Glancy Motor Hotel was named before the term 'Motel' was thought of.
