The Sackville Ferry is the uppermost of the four car ferries still operating on the Hawkesbury River [with Wisemans Ferry being the lowermost.] Wisemans Ferry Waymark.

This 'cable ferry' is operated by a 'private sector' operator, under contract from NSW RMS (Roads and Maritime Services), and carries a maximum of 12 cars on the 290 metre crossing; taking about 3 minutes.

Possibly a ferry service has operated here from the 1870's, certainly since 1883. Wiki Sackville Ferry
